So it seems like this is the night, when reading a post of Jeff Rubenstein on the PlayStation I noticed a beautiful sentence saying the following:

"But because I know what you?re going to ask about, and because we don?t traffic in rumors and/or speculation, I invite you to come back to the Blog tonight (just shy of midnight Pacific). We?ve got a video to show you".

So i think that this indicates that the Video Walkthrough of the Firmware Update 2.4 is going live on the PlayStation BLOG tonight.

OH! I alomost forgot something, I read a reply from Jeff that said the following:
"Planning 2 videos, 5 or so mins each. One for XMB features and one for Trophies. None of the previous videos has been a short as 90 seconds, just as long as it takes to show off the features and not make you sit through a lot of fluff".

I don't think it will be out until after E3 where the trophy system will be officially launched and explained.

Last time SCEA released a walkthrough video for firmware, that firmware came out within 3 days. Fingers crossed. eh?

Lets hope so then.I can't wait for the trophy system.I used to think that I wasn't too bothered about the acheivements on 360 until I got COD4 on PS3.I'd already got it for 360 and as I played through the PS3 version couldn't help feeling a bit disappointed and thinking about how many points I'd got for doing a certain level on 360.It's stupid I know as acheivement points aren't actually worth anything.

Nobody knows. Should be more video's explaining the trophies later (official Sony video's). Rumours all over the net say this week, but I still think it will be around E3.

Was always going to be similar to XBL - I imagine it's quite difficult to incorporate achievements any other way than how MS and Sony have.

I don't care if it is a copy of XBL to be honest, it's something the PS3 needed to bring it up to speed and more importantly, its free! :)

Just download it on your PC and update from a memory stick.

2.40 is looking brill.

In-game XMB is a top feature and the Trophies system could be what converts 360 owners, not to mention the imminent release of Home......i have seen the future, and it's PS3 shaped ;D

Well, its here! It's very good. The scope for trophy support is good, but as yet there are few titles that support them. The gamercards are good, and in game XMB works a treat!!!

It took 5 minutes to download and install. Really quick. They have fixed the slow loading of the store as well.

Apparently Sony has pulled the update from there servers as it has caused some people blocking issues, Cant say i have had any probs. How about anyone else?
