« on: November 16, 2021, 12:18:59 PM »I have got the game, I got it on release day through game pass, really enjoying it at the moment, apart from trying to get some of the XP/Fast Travel Boards especially the 5,000XP board hanging on the pylon, but I got it in the end. Not come across any bugs yet.
Your're lucky! I've raised and had closed about 7 tickets so far, keep losing progress
Mexico is great though, really like the setting.

Anyone get this? I've been 'enjoying' the early access but it's been really buggy - online won't keep me connected for cruises but I can race online. Apart from that minor issue it's a very good game so far, set in Mexico it reminds me a lot of FH2/FH3. The game looks gorgeous even on a Xbox Series S with no 4k. There's loads of events to do and map seems around 1.5x bigger than last time.

Presuming you all saw this, I'm of the opinion it is needed and I think school's closing though painful was needed given the risk it posed. Hopefully this time will be a bit easier mentally as many of us now have support bubbles, plus there are some services still open that were not last time - Garden Centres/Recycling - so there is a little more to do.
I'm sorry if you're affected work wise, I didn't see any changes to the furlough scheme which is still running until April 2021 so if you are sent home now do please direct your employer here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/claim-for-wage-costs-through-the-coronavirus-job-retention-scheme

Beat me by two days, I finished on the 18th but the 2 week break they have given us is an extra holiday - I still have my normal allowance for the year

I got a Series S in the end, I'm very happy
If you are fully 4k ready, then the Series X is the one to get. Its a very powerful console. As my TV (and Surround Sound) really needs upgrading to 4k I went with the Series S.
I also got Gamepass Ultimate - I loaded my Xbox Live to run for 3 years (about £80), and then used the 'Gamepass for a £1' option so I have full service inc EA Play until 2024
The only niggle so far was as it doesn't have a disc drive I had to buy a couple of games digitally but I got them on sale so not too bad. I did also buy a 1tb SSD to put games on.
Overall, yeah I'm pleased though Id imagine in a couple of years I'll do a full 4k upgrade but this is fine for now.

What's on your wishlists? Mine are Xbox Series S and Cyberpunk 2077. Fingers crossed C77 does release as I can get that on Xbox One and it'll be upgraded for Series S later

I'd be interested in anyone's feedback on using it with older A/V equipment, I'm looking at HDMI Splitters with Optical Toslink Extractor - something which will take multiple HDMI inputs and output as one (with an optical audio out too). Or am I better off finally replacing my now near 10 year old amp.

Super fast and quick resume is amazing. I forgot about it and load up my xbox from cold boot,into assassins creed Valhalla and it took me by surprise that I was stood where I had left it the night before.
Looking forward to next week to see what the ps5 is like.
Did you get the Series X? My TV/HomeCinema would need a full upgrade to see the full benefit so I'm going for a Series S for now if I can find one of course!
I've been seeing a lot of good feedback about the loading times/boot times, 1 article reckoned we'd save 20 days this generation in regained loading times.
