You might be wondering... "Media walls? DIY projects? What's that got to do with gaming?" 😂

Well, hear us out!

Mature Video Gamer is an 18+ gaming community, and plenty of us are at the stage in life where gaming isn't the only hobby. We're older, hopefully a little wiser (debatable! 🤣), and some of us enjoy getting stuck into projects away from the console or computer.

Maybe you're building a media wall with a massive TV and a fireplace. Perhaps you're creating the ultimate gaming room, setting up a retro gaming corner, building custom arcade cabinets, restoring old hardware, or coming up with clever ways to organise your collection.

If it involves gaming, technology, creativity or a bit of DIY, we'd love to see it! 🛠🎮

🧱 Try the Media Wall Designer

We've started developing our own Media Wall Designer, giving you a way to explore ideas for your living room or gaming space, including media walls, TVs and fireplaces.

It's still a work in progress, so please bear that in mind when using it. Things may change, features may be added, and you might encounter the odd rough edge along the way. That's all part of developing something new!

🔧 Got a project of your own?

We'd also like to make room for members to share their projects, ideas, progress pictures, builds, tips and the occasional DIY disaster. We've all started a job thinking, "That'll only take an afternoon..." and finished three weekends later! 😂

Whether you're planning a project, halfway through one, or showing off something you've completed, this is the place to get involved.

You don't have to be a professional builder or a technical wizard. Enthusiasm, ideas and a willingness to have a go are more than enough.

So, what are you working on? Show us your gaming room, media wall, arcade build, man cave, restoration project or whatever else you've been tinkering with.

After all, being a mature gamer doesn't mean we've stopped making things. It just means we've got more stuff to fit around the telly! 😎

The Media Wall Designer and wider project features are still being developed, so please use them with that in mind. Feedback and suggestions are very welcome.
