Game of thrones or tits and dragons as we call it at work

On the last episode of haunting of Hill house, Really enjoyable ghost story.

Still mulling it over at the moment, The oldest lad is getting one so I might just use his.

We have 5 people off at the moment as the schools have sent their children home for showing symptoms and the whole families are in self isolation, The two I have spoken to have said that their child coughed twice and was sent home, All have had the tests but are waiting for the results.

Just recently I have been watching stuff I have not heard of but not seen any good horrors for a while mate.

I did watch one called "The last movie star" with Burt Reynolds & Ariel Winter in a while back that was different, He is a old actor and gets invited to attend a film festival in his honour but it is a bunch of die hard fans running it, Something a bit different.

Watched them both a few months back and really enjoyed both films.

A few things are used for the metrics, Time & attendance, Quality notifications, Open disciplinary's, Skill sets, Core behaviours, PDR (personal development reviews) scores for the last 12 months.

Don't get me wrong a lot of the people picked to go have made their beds over the last 12 months and now they have to live with their actions but there are some that will be leaving that have not done a lot wrong but the cuts needed are very deep (half the workforce) and it has encroached on some of the better people.

Well I have avoided the dreaded redundancy but will only feel really save after the 21st as appeals are being heard over the next few weeks but I do feel confident I will be okay now thank goodness.

Horrible situation what is going at my place as we have seen a lot of friends going from all 3 shifts.

Thanks Jamie.

I think all people in the automotive supply chain could see this coming at some point, I was hoping the work we do for the medical industry may save us but it has not worked out like that.

Hopefully we will find out the numbers this week.

Well after fighting the impossible with what is going on in the world and in the automotive sector we got told tonight that the company is closing our other UK facility and there will also be redundancy's at the facility where I work.

No numbers announced yet but this will cover all departments.

Oh the joy of covid 19 and Brexit have really buggered us over.

I hear you there mate as it has felt like I had my own private stretch of the M5 for the last few months.

One of them actually said that on the ride.

Personally I do not see the point of a E bike as getting the heart up to speed and tough climbs are what makes cycling fun.

Lemonade.

We are having another round of furloughs at the end of the month, The downside is that people that did not want to furlough have realised that staying at home on 90% of your wages (our place gives an extra 10% on top of the government scheme) that they are better off than going into work with fuel and food costs not needed so people that did not want furlough at the beginning now want it but they have missed the cut off point so the fun and games will start tomorrow when this is announced.

Should be fun tomorrow night lol.

The Germany's are playing crowd noise into the stadiums and it has made a big difference, It no longer feels like a training match.

Was out on Saturday with my football mate for a ride and they all turned up on hybrids, I thought I was going to get killed as I was on my MTB.

Turned out not one of them could keep up and I ended up dropping my speed from 15 mph to around 8 mph and that was a struggle for them lol.
